Bach’s motets are always an attractive challenge and that YBC relishes. Over the last 30 years we have explored not only those of Johann Sebastian but also contemporary ones by members of his considerable musical family, including uncles, cousins and sons. It is clear that the Bach dynasty brought great innovation and expression to this genre and we here present a varied and exciting selection.
