A wonderfully festive celebration of music for Christmas at Leipzig. Each uses Bach’s festival orchestra of trumpets, flutes, oboes, bassoon, strings, timpani, organ, harpsichord with soloists and choir. Cantata 191 resets three movements from the Gloria or B minor Mass. Cantata 110 resets the Ouverture of his 4th Orchestral Suite.
